Peter Dias

Since joining RJC in 2011, Peter has built a strong reputation for delivering practical, effective solutions tailored to the unique needs of his clients, ranging from residential stratas, contractors, major commercial and institutional clients, to various government clients at the local, provincial, and federal levels. With extensive experience in prime consulting, structural design and restoration, building enclosure rehabilitation, as well as construction and specialty engineering, he brings a comprehensive skill set to the assessment and restoration of structures and building enclosures on Vancouver Island and coastal British Columbia. His project portfolio includes notable projects such as the multi-year renovation and restoration of the Empress Hotel, restoration of the historic concrete headframe and tipple structure at Morden Colliery Historic Provincial Park, and leading the comprehensive roof and seismic assessment of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia.

His dedication to quality and detail, and his collaborative approach make him a trusted partner for our clients. Peter shares his knowledge and experience with others within the RJC team, the local community through various engagements with secondary and post-secondary institutions, as well as the industry through presentations for the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI).

Peter received his Bachelor of Applied Science degree from the University of British Columbia, majoring in Civil Engineering. He is also an active member of RJC’s internal Restoration Liaison Group which advances RJC’s technical standards and practices.
