RJC’s work for the repair and protection of a 1950s-era Wastewater Treatment Plant’s Digester structure in western Canada has received an Award of Excellence in the Water Structures category at the 2021 International Concrete Repair Institute Project Awards Program.

St. Andrew’s-Wesley United Church won a 2021 North American Copper in Architecture Award. RJC is the Prime Consultant, Building Enclosure Engineer and Structural Engineer for the project. The architect is Ryder Architecture with Heritage Consultant Donald Luxton & Associates. The awards program is open to projects in Canada or the United States completed within the last three years that feature a significant amount of architectural copper alloy.

The Canadian Association of Heritage Professionals (CAHP) has recognized the extensive restoration work done to the historic Calgary City Hall with a 2021 Award of Merit in the Conservation – Architecture category. RJC provided structural engineering, structural restoration, building science and heritage conservation services.
