Candidate Profile

The Project Coordinator will work with the local staff to help manage and coordinate our projects. The focus of this position will be on assisting in the execution of projects through all phases, but particularly in the construction administration stage. A strong ability to support a team is required, as is the ability to interact and communicate with clients and contractors. Good writing skills, organization and fluency with software such as Excel, Newforma and Bluebeam are needed in this role; as is the initiative to continually improve and refine processes.

Key Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

· Daily processing of construction documentation and correspondence through Electric Data Management Systems (EDMS)

· Data entry of required information

· Daily communication with engineering team

· Uploading/downloading from FTP sites

· Reviewing concrete test reports

· Logging all received submittals/RFI/SSI/Reports/ETC

· Running Reports

· Setting up CA for new projects

· Tracking all outstanding submittals

 

Professional Qualifications

Education:

· Degree or Diploma in Administration, Project Management or related field.

Experience:

· 1-3 years’ experience and preference given to candidates with familiarity in the A/E industry.

· Proficiency in Bluebeam and Newforma an asset + other EDMS systems.

Skills:

· Strong organizational/communication skills

· Works well independently and in a team environment

· Motivated self-starter

· Ability to multi-task

· Detail oriented

· Maintain accurate file structure for all documentation

· Work with existing document controllers to produce and maintain procedures
