Jason is a meticulous and organized professional with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines, making him a trusted resource for many clients. With over 24 years of experience working with RJC’s Vancouver Island Building Science and Restoration Team, Jason leads Victoria’s Restoration group, providing technical expertise on diverse projects while building and maintaining robust client relationships.
A graduate of Thompson Rivers University, Jason holds multiple professional designations, including Applied Science Technologist (AScT) through ASTTBC, Gold Seal Certified Owners Construction Manager (GSC) through the Canadian Construction Association, and Accredited Roofing Inspector with the Roofing Contractors Association of BC (RCABC). He also maintains a Registered Roofing Observer (RRO) designation through the International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC) and has completed the Canadian National Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) – National Mediation Course, enabling him to provide adjudication and mediation services for disputes.
Recently appointed as a Principal of the firm, Jason collaborates with his team to deliver a comprehensive range of consulting services. His expertise spans building enclosure upgrades, roof and waterproofing consulting, concrete restoration, fall protection design, Indigenous community projects, project management, and building condition assessments. Jason also specializes in parking facility planning, asphalt pavement replacements, testing and commissioning services, and the preparation of closeout documentation. Through his work, Jason helps clients repair, enhance, and sustain the value of their assets, ensuring quality and longevity in every project.
