From inception to completion and every step in between, Michael maintains an unparalleled focus on full client service. A Kingston native, Michael's roster includes completed projects in southern Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes.
Michael is known throughout the industry for his prime consulting, historical restoration design, construction administration and commissioning skills. As a building envelope specialist and heritage restoration professional, Michael is requested by internal team members, contractors, and clients, to assist in key decision making process to ensure their historically sensitive assets are evaluated, managed and restored. He works to ensure the long-term preservation is achieved within budget and on schedule. His experience in the evaluation, investigation, design and remediation of both historic and contemporary building enclosures extends to roofing, walls, fenestration and waterproofing systems. He is also proficient in the restoration of cast-in-place, post-tensioned and pre-cast concrete, as well as wood structures.
Michael is a Certified Engineering Technologist and a graduate from Algonquin College of Advanced Applied Arts and Technology. He completed a business management certificate at Ryerson University as well as a Building Science Certificate at the University of Toronto. Michael is an active member of the Ontario Building Envelope Council (OBEC), the Building Concrete Restoration Association of Ontario (BCRAO) and the Canadian Association of Heritage Professionals (CAHP).
